Explorations with Southern Crossings

I am delighted to introduce you to Explorations, the venture that I have been working on these last few months (and which is actually the culmination of many years of inspiration). Explorations experiential escorted small group journeys are essentially an invitation to join me to explore the best of our beautiful backyard!

Sharing my favourite local finds and the insights gained through many years of travel, each itinerary is designed to get you off the well-touristed trail; to see and do things that most kiwis never have; and to enjoy experiences that are not easily accessed independently – all in the company of new friends.

The first Explorations journey will explore the furthest reaches of fabulous Fiordland with an 8-night South Island itinerary (1-9 October 2020) including a stay at the lovely Cabot Lodge, a helicopter scenic flight over the fiords and a 6-night boutique cruise through the spectacular sounds before returning to Queenstown for a final night of celebration. I thoroughly enjoyed this Fiordland cruise which I did last year – it is certainly a very special and unique experience and I can’t wait to return!

I’d love you to join me on what promises to be a great trip and loads of fun

Patrick Bourke
